Up to twenty paedophile priests abused hundreds of children in the Raphoe Diocese over a forty year period. The latest report from the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church, reveals a new cover-up scandal for the Catholic Church.
The report is horrific and outlines a catalogue of allegations against priests who abused young children. Details are given of how the senior priests failed the victims by not giving the information to the Gardai. The Church was more interested in its reputation than the safety of the victims.
